This webinar will introduce attendees to CORE’s robust library of free CEU-eligible trainings, including on-demand webinars designed to strengthen your practice. Jonelle Bailey has over 25 years of experience in the parks and recreation field, from seasonal to executive director, in various areas of the country. She has a Bachelor Degree in Recreation, Parks, Tourism, and Administration and a Master’s degree in Organization Leadership and has taught financial leadership for Booth University. Bailey has presented at local, state, and national venues regarding customer service, programming, Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging. She is the Member representative of the IPRA Diversity Section, a member of the IPRA Diversity Taskforce, a Member of the National Ethnic Minority Society, appointed to the CAPRA Commission, and one of the lead facilitators and co-creators of the Safe Zone Conversations.
Khalid Salahuddin, CPRP
Recreation Supervisor
City of North Miami Florida
Khalid Salahuddin is a seasoned Parks and Recreation professional with over 30 years of experience dedicated to enhancing community well-being through innovative and inclusive recreational services. He currently serves as the Recreation Supervisor for the City of North Miami, where he oversees athletics, aquatics, facility operations, and recreational programming for a diverse population of more than 75,000 residents.
Mr. Salahuddin has actively contributed to community development beyond his municipal role. He has served on the Miami-Dade Economic Advocacy Trust (MDEAT) for the past seven years, including a term as Chair of the Board, where he championed initiatives to support economic and social equity in underserved communities.
He is also an engaged member of the National Recreation and Park Ethnic Minority Society (NRPEMS), where he serves on both the Nominations and Strategic Planning committees, helping to shape the future of the profession and promote diversity within the field.
Khalid holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Leadership and Management Innovation from Miami Dade College, reflecting his commitment to academic excellence and continuous professional development. Passionate and purpose-driven, he remains steadfast in his mission to improve the quality of life for all citizens through the power of Parks and Recreation.
