In August of 2020, via the Great American Outdoor Act, the Land and Water Conservation Fund (LWCF) was permanently funded at $900 million annually, offering funding opportunities for eligible projects to support land acquisition, recreational facility improvements and park planning projects. The National Association of State Outdoor Recreation Liaison Officers have developed a roadmap and a variety of resources to help you navigate the requirements and the process. Every project starts with a great idea!  How you begin to work the concepts through project development including a public process will demonstrate the ability to create a successful project application for LWCF State Assistance Program.  From planning, gaining public support, and funding the project to understanding and submitting a standout application, this webinar series will arm you for success, even after you've been awarded, and your project is completed.
